i have done this successfully once before using an online calculator, but on my friends phone i have 1 more try to get it right, can someone give me an unlock code please

How many codes have you tried?
What was the last error message?
Show us what codes you used.

i have tried 4 m8, unfortunetly i have not recorded the ones i have used. can you hit me with your best shot

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

Most 6230's only allow 3 attempts that mobile might already be hardlocked.

your right m8, in my enthusiasm to try it i have used them all up and is now hard locked, is there another road i can go down with it or is that the end for this phone

Take the mobile to your local shop and ask if they do a direct unlocking service. £5 is the cheapest I've seen £30 is the max.

Next time come to us first mate the 6230 is an easy model to unlock. ;)
