I just purchased 1 click dvd about an houe ago and it's very slow and have no means to remove any copy protection, it's limited to other programs.Why would I need them if I have Any DVD.Their ability to remove copy protection is limited to a third party software. Do anyone know of a telephone where they can be reached.I emailed them requesting a refund after an hour. Do anybody know if they honor their 90 day money back guarantee? Thanks for any info

Look at the EULA or the terms of sale. Be patient as you just purchased it. Be persistent too, however.
The bigger problem is that you paid for something you could have gotten for free. DVDFab and Ripit4me handle all the newest protections. Like security tools, the best stuff is usually free. Make sure to spread the word.
If you already own AD, then stick with it. Most here consider it an excellent tool, maybe the best, and there is plenty of evidence to support that. The new versions can rip directly to your hard disk. I'm told 1click is still a good shrinker so you can rip with AD and shrink with 1click. Even if you don't get your money back, it won't be completely wasted.
Edit: Looks like others have posted some good advice as well.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

AD means "Afterdawn", the name of this forum......Don't know why dunker calls AnyDVD AD, never seen that before & I've been a member here since December 2003

In my opinion, the people at 1 Click DVD Copy are crooks. Best to just stay away from this company and their software. I was taken by these guys last year.

@ ejrinva - couldn't have been that bad a product if you got it last year and just start to moan now that they have implemented the clause in the EULA which is there for all to read before they install the trial version of the software.

Very few 'pay for' products will remove the encryption on bought dvd's. The FAQ page at LG's homepage does suggest you use DVD43 as it is free and I have been using it since version3.9.0 came out with great success.
If you are finding the software slow to copy or burn you might want to check your DMA settings as if your DMA is disabled this will cause any dvd backup software to run real slow.

bubbles19...Here is what I don't like about 1 click dvd copy
1. They advertise on some sites a 90 day monye back guarantee, but I have not seen anyone successful at getting their money back. That is just plain wrong
2. When I bought the product, the website advertised free updates. Their tech support people made it seem like the updates were free for life. But the fine print in the EULA indicated only free for a year. That's deceptive.
3. Their advertisement makes it seem like their product can copy nearly any DVD. They suggest you download DVD43. I have email from their tech support person "jimmy" suggesting I buy AnyDVD. Hmmm...why don't they suggest that you pirchase AnyDVD with the original purchase? Again deceptive.
The product is actually a decent product. It's just that the people that sell it are crooks.

With the decrypters there are occasions where DVD43 won't work or causes problems with some users and AnyDVD seems to be the best fix there.
as for the 90 money back - I have seen a few people over the years with the same gripe but when asked where they saw this it turns out to be on 3rd party software review sites. I have had 1click since dec'03 and have never seen anything offering a 90day money back promise.
Lastly the 'update issue' - there was a new member over at the LG forum when the $19 fee was being introduced and he posted a screen shot of the LG site saying it stated 'free lifetime updates' but in actual fact it only said 'free updates'. when this was pointed out to the user the screenshot quickly disappeared from his post (before I could save the image for future use/proof) and LG had by this time add the wording 'free updates for 1 year'
Granted it can be misleading on the website but the EULA already stated the updates were only free for 1year.

1 Click DVD is a ripoff. I purchased the product in December 2004 beleiving the lifetime updates which was cleary stated on their website. I downloaded updates as late as January 2006 - which is after a one year period. I just went out to their site the other day and noticed that they changed the free updates from lifetime updates to 1 year only. So I e-mailed the sales department and they told me that it was always one year free updates. I can't beleive they are such liars. I will not renew my license. I thinking I'm going to by Any Dvd with Clone DVD instead. They should change the name to 1 Click DVD Scum Bags. I hope that they go out of business.

I purchased one click DVD back in 2004 also. Their software is just crap since it requires Any DVD or DVD43 to decrypt as mentioned earlier. I also was told that updates would now cost me $19.00. Good only for one Year! That's a RIP OFF! They can keep their junk software! If you need Any DVD then of what use is One Click DVD? Any DVD with any burn software would be better than One Click DVD! A lot of people have been taken in by this bogus One Click DVD Company - LG Software. If anyone is interested stay clear of One Click DVD as any of the free stuff,(DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, works much better with Any DVD!!!! Also better are, Ripit4me, Dvd FabDecrypter.
