you can still downgrade but its possible that your can brick your psp meaning that the screen is blank when you turn it on if you downgrade. but i have heard that you have to have your battery full and keep the charger on it and dont cancel the downgrade or it will result as a brick. but thats what ive heard on forums
<i am not responsible if your brick your psp>

yeah pinball listen to junior he's guid will help

the reason you cant downgrade is because your motherboard has been designed to brick soon as you try to run a app such as a downgrade so no mater what u do dont go near a downgrade unless you want a $200 paper weight

4get psp's im on dat 360 now cha dig!!

Well the hen, your staying on your 2.71 and emulating 1.50 fw, then playing the iso.

Actually I dont think u play the isos with 1.5. Thats just for homebrew. To play the iso's you emulate 2.71 again and load isos from there. But there really isnt a difference with 1.5 and HEN + Devhook port. The biggest difference is you're emulating 1.5 with the devhook port.

1 more question. Is the "HEN and DEVHOOK" a temporary thing or does it stay an an emulated 1.5 on the psp. Do i hav to do this thing every time i want to play my iso's?

@emachine
Thanx for pointing that out for me.

@pinball
yesh you will have to do it each time you cold reboot your psp. if you put it into sleep mode it will stay in the emulated firmware.
