Hiya out there all you clever FORUM FREAKS been reading a lot lately even more clever people joining in now.
Any down to biz,analized with fab ok but shrink says FAILED TO READ "F:\" DATA ERROR CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK.(the movie is FLIGHTPLAN WITH JODIE FOSTER) any help is appreciated.

Rip to HDD first using DVDFab Decrypter and then continue on with DVD Shrink...you may have to run the VIDEO_TS.IFO through VobBlanker before going to DVD Shrink, but if you are using the latest version of DVDFab Decrypter you shouldn't have to make this extra step as Flightplan is old news.

davang hi :)

A "CRC" error is most often caused by bad media - it could be any of the following:

1. A dirty disc,
2. A scratched disc
3. A poor quality disc (cheap media if it happens during the "Burn" section of your work)
4. A bad disc from the Mfgr.
5. It can also be due to structural copy protection on a disk.
6. It can also be from a bad optical component in your drive.

It could also be a question that is asked every week by a different member ;)

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
