Hey guys i have an xbox it had error code 16 by messing up with a softmod i sent it to xbox serivces and they repaired it. So when i got my xbox back i hooked everything up and i wanted to go onto xbox live but when i try to go on it says xbox live not found when it troubleshoots. If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me i will really appreciate it

P.S. my wires are in right becuase i can play xbc just fine its just xbl doesnt work

OK now when i try to go into xox live it says your xbox cant recognize this disk and i dont have a disk in it PLease help me this is really weird!

well looks like u gatta sent it in for repairs again but this time tell them that they fixed it wrong and they should replace it with a brand new xbox thats what my cousin did he droped his xbox like an idot he got it back and xbox live didnt work so they gave him a new one...

I'm very upset with xbox services it took them one month to fix this and they repaired it improperly! They better send me a new xbox or I'm gonna be pissed

Sounds like your Xbox account has been wiped. I think they just replaced your HD? Are your game saves still there? Or is it just XBL they deleted? Hmm..

Go onto the Xbox Live menu and choose "Account Recovery" and you can get your account back. (Assuming the account has been deleted from your Xbox, because it sure sounds like that is what has happened)

No dude the thing is when i click on account recovery and when i click on xbox live thats what it says i cant even get anything

Yeah thats what I'm going to do but they better not take one fricken month again like they did be4 ugh that made me mad and aftr 1 month they repaired it wrong :P

Yeah there so dumb they make no sense it took them like 1 hour to fix the thing and they took a month just to send it here and I had to argue with them just so they could fix it they didnt want to take it I was like but the system broke and I didnt do anything so then finally they agreed to take it and they repaired it wrong and now they will give me an even harder time with getting a new xbox

no i called the same place i was on the phone for 2 hours trying 2 find out what was wrong with my ethernet port in the end all i got was buy a new xbox or send it in and pay $80.00
