Hey people, Expecting swap magic in a few days time and I'm just wondering what is the best type of media to use to get the longest life out of my PSTwo? If some links could be posted to uk sites with reccomened media then that would be great. Does + or - make a difference? Does write speed make a difference?

Ritek/Ridata are the best budget dvd-r's to use, I have them and they have never failed me, not even 1. And im using a Magic 3.1, exactly nothing hi-tech over here. Even Optodisc are working well for me.

Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim are known to be the best type of media. If you don't mind ordering them online, get Taiyo Yudens. Otherwise, Verbatim will definitely do.

As for +R and -R, you should get -R. Some PS2s won't eat +Rs. Most will, but if you want to be totally sure you should just get -R. Hope I was a bit of help.

Tanks for the advise, I'm looking to buy slighty cheaper for my first time as I'm a bit skint this month. How are RiData? These are the specific ones I was looking at:
