hey,
im very new at the forum thing. Though I have used these afterdawn as a reference fo r many problems, you guys are always very useful and informative.
My latest issue is "brotherhood of the wolf"
I'm at work right now and can't think of the exact error I'm getting with both Shrink and decryptor and dvdfab gold (trial).
It is always a copy protection error.
Anyone shed any light at all, anybody copy this movie with similar issues or none at all.
Any info will be appreciated.

should be able to get around the copy protection with dvdfab decrypter (free)+ Vob Blanker (free) + DVD Shrink (Free) + some typer of burning software, i prefer Nero but many other free softwares out there.

That Should handle any dvd you come across. If You Want To make the time a bit shorter and make it a bit easier you can dish out 25$ and buy AnyDVD. It can handle any movie and makes it much less of a hassle.

hmmm if this is the French one I have - it's an older one w/ nothing special on it. So I'm thinking you're getting a read/crc error.
What's the error?

Try cleaning the disc off w/ something non abrasive. If you have another drive try that one - some are better than others w/ discs that are less than perfect.

oddly enough...no luck still copy write errors and invalid nav.
However I watched the original again, good movie but tooo long probably never watch it again anyway. Im chalking it up to a bad disk just a fluke, never had problems like this one.
