i need a colour printer for printing DVD cover inserts, full colour ones aswel! so i need a good high spec one for a low price. dont worry about the price though, just please can people suggest printer names and their model numbers for me???
The Epson Stylus photo "R" series are very nice printers. My outer case covers look better than the originals. My regular photo pics also look sweet. They also print directly onto inkjet printable cds and dvds which makes your discs look very nice.
R-200/220 : Very fine printer, nothing fancy on them.
R-300/320/340 : Same specs as the 200 series, but with fancier card readers and a view screen.
The R-220 and R-340 should be the latest models.
Most stores like Office Depot/Office max/Staple's/Best Buy/and Sam's club have them anywhere from $80- $140. I've seen lots of them on clearance from time to time at staple's.
These printers hold 6 different ink carts. Most of us get generic ink for under $15 a set at meritline.com and other sites. Prices in stores run $55-$60 a set. Generic ink,but same excellent quality as epson ink. The savings in ink will save a lot of money down the road.
There's even bulk ink systems you can buy for these printers for major print jobs.
You're over across the pond. I'm not sure of how that price converts to US $$$$.
The R-200 is the oldest of the drives, but mine is fantastic.A heck of a lot better than the last 2 pc of crap Lexmarks. It's 1 1/2 yrs old, been launched in the air,and still prints like a charm.
yes,you cant go wong with the epsom range, its quite a popular choice
think my R300 cost me about £70 from amazon.
cant really fault the quality, although mine does have a few problems sometimes feeding the plastic disk tray holder in properly
Mine does the same thing. Once started,I have to nudge the template in until the printer finally takes it in. Same after the print job. I have to pull it out by hand manually at the end of the print cycle.
Just a couple little issues with the cd printing part of the printer.Nothing major.
