Ok I own a Globe 360 I'm finally getting around to installing it today but I also have a NME-360 mod chip, so I came up with what may seem completely pointless at first but makes more sense as you read on...

Ok here is my plan I intend to increase boot success by installing both mod chips on a 2-way switching system, my idea is to install the Globe then install the NME-360 on top of some of the Globe 360 wires, and extend the power of both mod chips onto to ladled switches so when i want to use the Globe I turn on the Globe and tunrn the NME-360 to off, and vice Versa.

Excuse the crude demo diagram I only just came up with the idea I call it the Luderman mod.

Although to some this may seem pointless and expensive I see it as a increasing you?re chances of booting games that sometimes prove to be a pain in the ass, who thinks this idea will work?

odds are on unshielded cabling you will get chronic interference.

You're not increasing your odds... you're still booting from one chip or the other. And if you're using the nme360 you have to rip games with their software to work on the 360. You can't just run a straignt download of your original (if you don't make your own).

Really, with the latest firmware, there aren't any booting problems. You'ld probally be better off selling one of the chips and trying to recoup some of your cash. You can use it for dvd dl's. 8)
