ok i figured out how to make a dvd disc with the deadwood series i downloaded and converted, but the dvd player will only see one of the two episodes i burnt to disc, can i make an episode disc with dvd santa?maybe some how use shrink with santa please some one give me some input, thanks
I can't speak to the programs that you mentioned, but can affirm that CloneDVD2 works fantastic with episodal discs. Preserves the menus and all. I use it exclusively for multi-episodal DVD's.
Here is a guide for doing episodal disks using Shrink, however you will not have a menu. Make sure you have converted each file separately and then using Shrink in reauthor and add each title you want to your compilation.
ok i converted my episodes each in its own file,i open shrink and go to reauther browse to were my converted files are but they don't open the folder is in the drop down window but no options are available i see nothing but a folder there. what do i do? what am i doing wrong?
i used dvd santa and converted them from AVI to dvd, then open shrink to reauthor and when i browse the files i want to open with shrink i see the file but not the contents of the file, i click open and the file should be anylized by shrink but nothing happens as if the file was empty
i am not trying to copy an episodal disc i am trying to make a episodal disc from my downloaded avi/divx deadwood series,is this possible can i do it with dvd santa and shrink/ Nero?
You can convert any AVI or DivX via Nero Vision or ConvertXtoDVD. I have used both, but I'm leaning more toward Nero Vision because you can set the "quality" to the highest (i.e. Progressive, 2 passes VBR/High Quality and get the 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio).

As alkohol states you can do this with NeroVision, it will convert and you can make you compilation with a menu. I also prefer NeroVision for conversion and compiling. Here is a guide on the basics of using NeroVision.
