1) First, if you have AnyDVD, you should always check and make sure you're using the current version 6.0.8.0 (the software should alert you if a new version is available).
If an update is needed, get it here;
http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
2) AnyDVD comes with a ripper that can be used on difficult to backup DVDs, you can use its ripper to put the video files on your hard drive. Once the ripper is done, open the files using shrink and use it as you normally would to create a backup. The ripper can be accessed by right clicking on the red fox in your task bar in the lower right, click on the ripper to start the process.
3) You can also try using DVD Decrypter (in file mode) with AnyDVD running to rip to the hard drive with, DVD Decrypter is very good when using it to backup those pain in the butt DVDs. When the process is complete, open the files using shrink and use it as you normally would to create a backup.
get DVD Decrypter here;
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/
here's a guide if needed;
http://www.dvdshrink.info/dvd-decrypter.php
4) Another suggestion is to use DVDfab decrypter (a free ripper/decrypter) to rip the video files to your hard drive, when the process is complete, open the files using shrink and use it as you normally would to create a backup.
NOTE: If you're going to try using DVDFab to rip with, you need to disable AnyDVD, the two together will conflict with eachother. Right click on the red fox and choose exit to disable.
get DVDFab decrypter here;
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
If you're not having any luck, there's a good bet that the problem lies with the DVD itself, return it if you can and retry to back it up...;)

Actually, I was able to back this movie using DVD Decrypter to rip to HD first with AnyDVD 6.0.7.0 running and CloneDVD to shrink. No problems...

I am also having problems with my copy of Click. My burner won't even recognize that I put a disk in. All other disks work so I know it is not my burner. Has any one had success in backing up their copy of Click?

It's strange how some people report problems when other people with the same software have none.
I've tried everything in the arsenal and this is the first time I've been unsucessful in backing up one of my movies. In my last attempt using Any DVD's Ripper, I got Shrink to get past the "bad info in X" and "missing file" to only have it commit the dreaded "Out of Memory" error.
I guess this must be the best movie ever made and Sony doesn't want it backed up. F Sony. It's things like this that keep me from buying any of their electronics. Too bad I don't have a choice when buying DVDs. :(

I could not get VobBlanker 2.1.1.0 to run thru the whole disc after using DVDFabDecrypter 3.0.2.0
dvd shrink would not do it and DVD Decrypter didnt.
My solution _ Just the Movie Back up
DVDFabDecrypter 3.0.2.0 open disc and select only the movie to Decrypt and then use DVD Shrink..

The new title you'll soon see that I just purchased today is "MONSTER HOUSE" which so far out of the new films I just purchased seems to have the most encryption, SONY Arccos "PUPPETLOCK".

Finally got it to work. Just used Shrink to analyze straight from the disc and then reauthored to do only the movie itself.

@N2DVD..weird AnyDVD 6.0.7.0. gave me a error and said to check the disc conditon as if it were not clean ...downloaded AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 and it ran right thru it without a hitch.. i was thinking "Click" had a special type of protection because in DVD Decrypter in the identifer tab it had "dvd after edit" ..go figure but i see a lot of people are having a hard time with this.

I did just copy the movie few minutes ago. I copy the movie to the HD using DVD Decrypter (at the end of the process gave me an error but it did copy the whole movie). Then I used DVD Shrink but in Reauthor method, because the other way won't work. Then I selected the main movie and burn it. Great copy despite I lost the menu.
