How hard is it to Mod the 360 to Play copied games?

I want to get it done, but I don't want to stuff my 360 over it. I have the Hitachi drive in mine. Now, is it an easy process to mod the 360? I've got some skill with computers and what not, but after looking at the tutorials and guides to do it, I'm starting to think it may be a little complicated for me.

When it's all done, do you just have to put in a copied game like you would an original and it'll just work without any hassle?

Any other help would be appreciated.

yes i got mine done from a friend it cos me =£40 but was worth it n now i just put a game in n voila although some games dont work on mine n do on my brothers both are modded but his is the hard drive package n mine isnt but only one game worked so far for his and not mine

Ah ok. What is the Hard Drive package? Do you mean that your 360 doesn't have a hard drive???

The 360 Core Edition doesen't have a hard drive, not allowing some games to play, and not allowing original Xbox games to be played. The premium full edition does come with a harddrive though.
