hey guys im trying to install bome's mouse keyboar, so i can use that on screen keyboard for reason 3. Anyways this is the link to the tutorial, and i just cant figure out wut to do for the midi part, everything else iv done, except for the midi stuff, and obviously i need the midi stuff in order to finsih the installation stuff.
1.1 Get and install a virtual MIDI driver
There are several virtual MIDI drivers available. I suggest Hubi's Loopback device for Windows 95/98/ME or MIDI Yoke for Windows NT/2000/XP (see download links above). Install either one of them following their documentation. They will create virtual MIDI cables. Virtual MIDI cables work like this: in a MIDI program, select a virtual MIDI driver (e.g. "MIDI Yoke 1") as MIDI Output. In a second program, use the same MIDI driver (in the example: "MIDI Yoke 1") as MIDI Input. Now, everything that goes out from the first program will be received in the second program. Here, we use this functionality in order to connect Bome's Mouse Keyboard to Reason.
---------------------------------------------------------------
AND BECAUSE I CANT GET THEN I CANT GET THIS PART:
2.2 Selecting MIDI OUT
and because that part i cant get then i cant finish the rest of the thing.
Quote:Here I describe how you set up Mouse Keyboard and Reason 3 to work nicely together. Files needed:
Virtual MIDI device driver:
Windows 95/98/ME: Hubi's Loopback device
Windows NT/2000/XP: MIDI Yoke
Bome's Mouse Keyboard 2.00 -- if not already installed
MouseKeyboardReason3Integration1.0.exe - contains all the files needed for this tutorial
So, I guess you need to download and install 'Hubi's Loopback device' or 'MIDI Yoke', depending on the operating system that you are running.
