so 40 to rip and another 40 to burn on 2.4x? thats better than the wii taking 2 and a half hours to rip then 15 to burn..y is that? haha 360 has more gb then wii..strange..im going to buy a samsung soon on ebay!
or am i missing something? the times are incorrect? im not a patience person (sometimes) and i really need fast and reliable! but i heard ripping is less than 30 minutes with those samsungs and burning with imgburn like 45, but thats better than my wii!
how many gb is an acutal xbox 360 game??

most 360 games are around 7 GB each
get your self a samsung DVD drive for £11.00 - £12.00
http://www.vesalia.de/e_sh-d162d%5b5701%5d.htm?froogle=uk
then flash your new shinny DVD Drive with KREON V0.81 or v1.0
or purchase a samsung DVD drive from eBay for around £25.00 already
flashed with KREON ... Install DVD drive into your PC
this DVD drive will read your XBox 360 game straight from your PC
it takes about 10 minuets to rip a 7 GB game using
Schtrom360extract-V3.3 depending on your PC speed
then burn with clone cd just browse to were you ripped the game
and click on the DVD file for that game press open then next and
your away one game burning i use Infiniti 8X Dual Layer DVD+R cost
£19.99 for 25 Printable discs they work as well as Verbatium

Ahhh nothing quite like contributing to an already-too-long terribly ancient thread...
So I just bought a Samsung SH-D162D and it's flashed with Kreon 1.0. Shows up in Windows, all looks well with the world. Until I run XBC or Schtrom. The drive is not usable in either program, though XBC does in fact show in the status area at the bottom, that the drive (TSSTcorp blah blah blah...) is seen and ready.
Anyone know what the deal is here? I can't see anything obviously wrong, using XBC build 2.3 Build 0185.
Thanks in advance!

Solved my own question within seconds of posting the above, by getting the latest version of XBC - 2.7 Build 0265. It helps to stay current!!

Firstly, is your Xbox 1 modded in some way? Mine has a modchip in it, and I've made backups using FTP to connect to the xbox, copy all the files to my local machine, and burn an ISO of them. There are tutorials out there that will explain how to do it... but basically you'll have the same basic issue the 360 does, which is that Windows just plain won't recognize all the files on the disc no matter what, so you have to use specialized software and modded firmware to get it to work. I've only used the FTP trick with Xbox 1...
Hope that helps!

It's a year old, but it's the same process. Instead of using XBC 2.3, use 2.7.
