You are trying to copy an original Xbox 360 game and not a copy of a game?
Eject CD tray once or twice some times it dose not read the Xbox 360 disc first time
If it?s a copy just use IMG to create an iso

I have recently purchased a samsung Sh-D162D drive pre-flashed with Kreon. When trying to backup a copy of MLB 2K8 with backup creator it writes 1% of the file onto Verbatim DL disc and stops. I have burned other games that were downloaded and never had a problem, but this is the first backup of an original that I have tried. Any ideas?

Have you tried Schtrom360XtractV3.4?

It's best to create an iso file.
start Schtrom360XtractV3.4
select your image path, check your DVD Rom type, chose task whole disk (stealth xtreme 3.0 vidsplit) then extract this will Rip game to your chosen folder. After about 15 20 minuetes game is ripped. You can then burn iso using clone cd. You can also check if your other 360 iso's are patched using xbc or XDVD Mulleter or even Schtrom360XtractV3.4? once they are ripped to HDD
good luck

I made this awhile ago for playing single layer games on the 360, but the games will also work on your Xbox 1.

nah, if your going to copy an original xbox game, then you cant use the 360 games' layer breaks as they are different. im not sure what it is for xbox 1 games, but google will tell you. as for the upconvert, it should assuming your using either vga, or hdmi cables.

Hi guys,
I'm a noob in XBOX 360 backup. I've been trying to find information about how to backup XBOX 360 original.

I have Lost Odyssey and I'm trying to back it up as the disc is scratched a little bit. But I'm not sure how to do it. The only DVDRW I have are Pioneer DVR 111D (with firmware 1.06) and BENQ DW1650.

Can someone tell me what else I need to do in order to create a backup from original game?

Thank you.

yes i've been trying to find that. But I couldn't find specific one in regard to my pioneer burner. Is the only option to get a dvd drive flashed with kreon firmware?

Same here, I have a modded Xbox 360 (xtreme 5.1), Samsung 162 C DVD Rom Drive on my Windows XP Desktop, Schrom, XBC, IMG Burn, DL Disks and a Toshiba burner, which I've used to successfully burn games I've downloaded. I can't seem to make backups of my discs. I get the error that it can't Extract SS Bin. I read somewhere that it could be the way my drive is hooked up to my computer - like it's not the master drive or something. I also don't have SATA connections, but rather IDE - but I hooked up the Samsung Drive flashed with Kreon with no problem and my computer recognizes the drive. It gets to 3% then gives me the SS Bin error. When I try XBC, I can't even begin the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I just got a Samsung SH-D162D and supposedly it's flashed with Kreon 1.0 already. (from www.samsungdrives.com) anyways, I tried using XBC2.8 or XBC 2.7 and it won't let me do anything in the first tab. I select the right drive from the drop down menu, and it says "This is not a true 1 to 1 copy of the image...See read me for more details". I then tried downloading SH D162D SB00 KREON V100 RAR and tried flashing my drive, but it says that the file in not compatible. What is going on?!? Is there a way I can find out if my SH-D162D is already flashed with Kreon v1.0? Anyways I can check it? I can appreciate any kind of help if you guys have ran into a similar situation. Thanks!

I also tried using Schtrom360Xtract V3.4 and it's saying that my TSSTcorpDVD-ROM SH-D162D SB00 "Can't get feature list from drive! It is a kreon compatible drive, but don't seem to be flashed with the right firmware! Drive is used as a normal DVD-ROM!

And when I checked again with XBC 3.8 it does say that my drive is flashed with KREON v1.0

I have a theory that it's because I'm connecting the Kreon drive through the PCI SATA Raid Controller rather than connecting it directly through the motherboard, that's why it's not letting me to start anything. I'll keep you guys posted when I get a chance to swap out the connection...

hey barnyboot
when using this method:
most 360 games are around 7 GB each

get your self a samsung DVD drive for £11.00 - £12.00

http://www.vesalia.de/e_sh-d162d%5b5701%5d.htm?froogle=uk

then flash your new shinny DVD Drive with KREON V0.81 or v1.0

or purchase a samsung DVD drive from eBay for around £25.00 already

flashed with KREON ... Install DVD drive into your PC

this DVD drive will read your XBox 360 game straight from your PC

it takes about 10 minuets to rip a 7 GB game using

Schtrom360extract-V3.3 depending on your PC speed

then burn with clone cd just browse to were you ripped the game

and click on the DVD file for that game press open then next and

your away one game burning i use Infiniti 8X Dual Layer DVD+R cost

£19.99 for 25 Printable discs they work as well as Verbatium

are they playable in a UNmodded 360?
does any method work in UNmodded 360?
thanks
