I purchased this nokia of ebay, the guy said it was not locked but it is locked to the virgin network, can any one please help me with the unlock code. Im in Australia

The information we need is this
1) what country the mobile was bought in
2) the network the mobile is locked to
3) IMEI (Provided)
If the mobile was bought in Australia it will be pratically impossible to unlock, but we could give it a shot if you wish.

1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)
This is the only code I will give, you only get 3 attepmts with this model.
Tell me exactly what the phone says after pressing the final #

i havent tried your code yet, reason being it says sim card rejected, not phone restricted, will this be ok still to use the code you provided.

yes, i tried it again with the sim and the sam thing has happened, it did not work again. the code stayed on the screen and nothing changed

Have you tried with the sim out?
Personally I would take it to a professional mate, as I said Aussie mobile are a pain in the neck to unlock.
