once it is on your pc, you need to re encode it to mpeg2 before it will work on a dvd.By saying it is in a SVCD format i assume that you encoded it to mpeg1.What did you use

Ok i tell how i work it out...

1) i copy the vro file from my camcorder DVD-RW to my pc.
2) then i use inter windvd creator 2 to convert it 2 SVCD format.
3) i try burning it using Nero and windvd.
4) Both burning software when i play on my pc everything is fine
until i play it on my DVD player.
5) this is when the audio out of sync happen.
6) i try also convert it to VCD and dvd... both work fine on my pc
and DVD player...
7) all went wrong when i play it on my toshiba dvd player.
8) i even try recopy the vro file and do the encoding. The problem

Hmmm converting it too many time the quality will drop....

If direct from VRO format to SVCD then quality is good....

I try the software XtoDVD...It does not convert into SVCD...It convert to VOB.
