You'll need PS2reality v1.5 to be exact. Browse the net you're bound to find it. When you find it extract the rar file go to the ps2 folder and copy these files over to your cd. I used Nero(burn data disc) and burn. This worked for me.

i know that but i saw somewhere(might be on internet) in the specificatioms of my(or other ) modchip that it lets u play DivX are u sure infinity does not let u play DivX like dms4pro
I prefer using "Simple Media System" (SMS). It's the best Media Player for the PS2. It plays DivX and XviD far better than PS2 Reality aka. Media Player Pro. Use this link to get SMS: http://home.casema.nl/eugene_plotnikov/ It also plays MP3. You can also stream video and mp3 from your LAN by using the RADhostclient. The client can also be found on the link mentiond above.

U need a media player what you mean when you said my modchip said it will allow it to play divix is your modchip will allow oyu to boot a burnt media lpayer then through the media player oyu run the DivX
Can the PS2 play high resolution (High Def or nearly so) DivX and comparable videos? If I converted them to MPEG2, would they play at those high resolutions smoothly? Lastly, can you play videos off HDD using PS2 reality media player?
My dreamcast, which isn't significantly less powerful than a PS2, chugged and froze on decent standard definition DivX videos.
