i have a few films on my hard drive that are 1gb, 2gb, & between 700mb & 900mb & was wondering what was the best way to put 2 or 3 films on to 1 DVD-R, so that i can play these films from 1 DVD-R disk on my dvd player instead of having to switch between the original disks.. im currently using Nero 7 ultra edition & have also got roxio easy media creator 7 & 7.5, but they aren't installed as i've heard these 2 programs conflict with each other if installed on the same computer.. can someone please tell me the best way to go about this? i also have clonedvd2 & would appreciate some help.. thanks

@ dougal79

Just use the DVD Shrink guide. It won't lower the quality of the movie if they don't need shrinking.

Are these films of which you speak actually in DVD compliant form (VOB's etc.) or are they avi's?

hi guys. sorry it took so long for me to reply, but telewest stopped all my services, just because i was £5 over my credit limit.. my girlfriend forgot to pay the bill 2 weeks ago & instead of them phoning me or sending a letter, they just stopped everything.. anyway, ive converted the films with vso convertxtodvd & they are now in 2 folders:- audio_ts (which is empty) & video_ts. convertxtodvd burns as well, but only does 1 film at a time.. i also have Nero 7 ultra, roxio easy media creator 7, 7.5, clonedvd2, & a few others.. whats best for copying multiple films to dvd's? also, the films were only about 700mb, but after converting them they are now between 1.5gb & 2.5gb.. why's this? something to do with compression i suppose.. any help is appreciated,, thanks guys

dougal79 You might need a double layer dvd to do what you want, your files are now dvd compliant thats why they are big, you can do the trick with Nero adding all the files, probably three of them.

>>>>> .. anyway, ive converted the films with vso convertxtodvd

Put both the original AVI's into ConvertX at the same time and you will have both on one DVD. You can stack as many as you want at the same time and ConvertX will fit them to a DVD.
