yeah, hi everyone thats reading this now. i just bought these DVD+R's http://www.verbatim.com/products/product...E286B6E0039C276 ...and i was trying to burn iso files to these dvd's so i can play them on my ps2 but i my damn computer can't use these shits to burn. previously, i used "hatachi maxall dvd+r" but they either dont run the ps2 or do work just very slow loading. so got these verbatim dvdrs in hopes for improvement but my computer cant even use these...so anyone reply to me and tell me what the hell type of verbatim dvdrs are these that i bought, also which verbatim dvd+r's to buy in the future for better results....thank u and goodnite. (P.S. dont say use Verbatim's DVD-R instead of DVD+R because my dvd burner doesnt support it)

I certainly wouldn't of bought 16x media for PS2 burning. 8x is sufficient enough, and more compatible.
Have you tried updating your burner's firmware? That may fix the problem with the drive not being able to use them. You must have a pretty old burner if it doesn't support -R anyway.
Other than that, unless someone else has these SAME discs, then you're not going to be able to find out anything more about this media type without the Media ID code that is shown in DVDecrypter. And you won't be able to get that if your drive doesn't recognise the discs.

*sigh* why does my life have to be soo hard...well now i just feel like throwing the whole computer out the window...cuz i have to buy a better burner and money is tight. this is limiting me soo much because i have soo many games downloaded on my desktop just torturing me. as far as i can see...these dvd+r's are shit and shouldn't be bought because noone knows the code. ill just go back and try out another set of dvd+r's, or try to update my burner.

rather than giving up on thses dvds
when you burn them make sure you booktpye them
and this way you change the +r discs to act as dvd-rom

The sig is back!

lol...im having such a great day. well now i got my dvd burner to recongize and burn iso files to "verbatim dvd+r's"(big thanks to "ace1uk" for the tip on updating firmware). but it now it seems to be formating the disc so my computer doesnt load up whats on DVD+R. i believe it writing it wrong...or formating seems to different. oh and when i put it in the ps2 its says "invaild ps2 disc". to any viewer do u have any tips on how to correct this problem...oh im cleaning my ps2 laser as i type...ill be around...~^_^~(To the user "alienator", i saw what u were talking about in bookmarking and the program already recongizes the disc as a DVD-ROM)

...ok now im coming to the conclusion that verbatim DVD+R 16x is a waste of time...and i think the user "NDarkness" was bs'ing about his reply, unless he replies back and tell me what program he uses to burn iso files on these worthless DVD+R...

Here you go.
Disc ID: MCC-004-00
Book Type: DVD+R

I used DVD Decrypter and burned at max speed.
If you want I can post pics of the DVDs for proof haha.

ok...book typing these dvd+r's does help but the main solution to run these dvd+r's are to run the write speed at max. i dont know why but suddenly these shits act like a ps2 disc. but now it taking twice as long as my maxell DVD+R, so sad. now i have came to the conclusion that not all ps2 run blank disc the same...cuz i have a V3 edition of ps2 with is like the first shipment when it was coming to the states. so "NDarkness", what edition of ps2 do you have...so i can prove my point clearly.
