ok dibz did you remane your game folder to game GAME150 you have to rename it to that like the guide says and make a GAME folder
@legend its upto you if you want to upgrade i personally like it better than 1.5 because you dont have to emulate firmwares to paly your umds,then once you fancy some homebrew just quit your game and start your homebrew up.

yeah i looked in PSP to re-name my GAME folder after i had done it all and the loader i got from PSP hacks must of done it for me as i alreafdy had GAME and GAME150, the GAME folder has the seupdmaker folders and dh_eng folder in while the GAME150 folder has a 1.50 eboot files go here sign.

you lost me there what loader you mean?choas zeros installer,if so neva used so dont know what folders it creates.

dont worry about that, ive done it all again, and want to install devhook to play iso's etc and got the 1 to use from psp hacks, but think this was where the problems where last time. what do i have to do with these GAME folders etc?

ok install devhook like before using the installer,once thats finished installing remane your game folder to GAME150 and make a new folder called GAME

i then installed the devhook used with this firmware, its named the folders GAME and GAME150, ive then copied a CSO into the ISO folder, gone to devhook but when i then press start the screen goes black and the psp turns off.

ah so you using the devhook with the files from the 2.71 se-a if so you need to change the firmware to 2.71f,hope that works

I've done exactly what is written in this guide. Renamed the files, and moved them to the directory, as written in the guide. But when I run the program, I get the PSP screen, and all of a sudden the screen gets black. No file gets created, and the damn PSP restarts itself. Help, please. I use version 2.71. I should work, shouldn't it?

If your using the offical 2.71 then no it wont work.
You have to be on V1.50 or any of the old custom firmwares, SE-A,B,C.
