DVD players read (IFO/BUP/VOB) Files.

But you can buy DVD players that will play AVI(Xvid/DivX) files. Your DVD will have to suport it.

If you need to convert then you can convert the AVI file to DVD format using Nero Vision Express.

Below is a link to a guide on how to use Nero Vision Express.

or you can do it the quick and easy way using ConvertXToDVD by VSO. You can make menus, add music to the menu, change background, and a whole lot more. it's fast, with quality and I love using it so much I bought all the VSO programs!

Hi,

@cynn,

Reference Ihoe's post as convertx2dvd will handle wmv files as long as there is no DRM protection on them.

to burn or not to burn that is the question

need help w/ media read this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/155431

I would think this could get fustrating for members when they ask what program to use and there has been 4 diffrent ones suggested to them.

Guess in a way it could be good cause they could try all them and choose which 1 they like better. But in some casses if it was a newbie asking it could be a little overwelming.

But hey guess there is no wrong answer if you get the same end results. But you will always get diffrent opionions on which program is best. That will never change.
