What network was you on?
What country was the mobile bought in?
What sim(network) are you trying to use now?
What country are you trying to use it in?

the phone was bought in usa, nokia 6010 locked to cingular, after i input the code, the phone restriction off appeared on the screen however there was no signal..the sim that i am using now is the Globe Telecom in the Philippines.

The 6010 will not work in the Philippines as the frequencies do not match, the 6010 runs on 850 / 1900mhz while the Philippines networks runs on 900 / 1800mhz.
