How to make DVD's play in colour in PS2?

Hi,

Is there a way i can make my region 1 dvd backups play in colour on my ps2? with out having to buy a new lead, tv ect...ie a software way?

Ye ripp it and encode it to PAL, doesnt sound like a nice option really does it?

dvd2avi, tmpgenc plus, tmpgenc dvdauthor.

Anywhere from 8-24 hours. do a search for PAL to NTSC

Ah there would be better methods than that though, i mean with TMPGEnc, you cant even keep your lovely AC3 audio :-)
