i have been downloading some AVI file, joining them with VirtualDub and then using dvdfab to dvd. Everything is fine until later in the movie when the video gets ahead of the audio which gets worse as time goes on. What am i doing wrong? The original is fine.

I would use a free app called Avi2DVD for the conversion. You can get it and all you need to know here;
