DVDSHRINK not recognizing installed Nero

have DVDSHRINK 3.2 and it doesn't recognize my Nero 5.5 and would not burn my files created by Ripit4me 1.5.2.0

Cannot afford newer Nero.
If I really have to, which Nero do I "absolutely must buy.?"

I found this site, and I found out that I have 5.5.10.56.
Which of this updates can I install.

My original Nero came bundled with a CD-ROM+/- writer. I'm trying to use it now for my USB Sony DRX-510UL.

I have burned dvds with Nero 5.5 10.56 it will work

I do not have Nero 5.5.10.56...I stand corrected if you are able to do it please reply on your method used so ledanek can do it.

thanks Matt and David. I tried downloading various update and weird enough I downloaded the same version that I have and now I can version again.

Thanks for the links, good reads btw. Learning new things everyday.

just want to mention that you can use imgburn or dvddecrypter (freeware) to burn with ripit4me. just need to have shrink create an iso image. there is even a version of shrink which has the autoburn feature for imgburn (an improved burning-only version of dvddecrypter).

to burn with Nero 5.5.10.56 you have the option of cd or dvd burn you must choose dvd and you need to drag the files to Nero it is not automatic
