Playing burnt DVD games with GameShark2

Hello,

I just bought a gameshark2 version 1.2 so I can win some games, but when I tried to play the burnt games it say's disc error. I tried most of my burnt games nothing seems to be working. I did some research about playing the burnt games using GS2. But most of the things I read were talking about the older PS2 I have a PS2 slim

I already have magic 3.6 and the magic set installed. Does anyone know what I can do to play my burnt games with GS2? also I was reading that I need the right version to use GS2 to boot burnt games what version would that be exacly?

Why try & use Gameshark when you have swap magic?
Swap Magic will boot far more than a Gameshark would, and besides, you've got the wrong version Gameshark to use for booting games anyway. None of the MadCatz Gamesharks can be used to boot games, as they open the PS2 when you need to swap discs

The reason I got the GS2 is because It has cheat codes Swap magic does not. So there is noway to play my burnt games using the GS2. So if I want to us cheat codes I have to get the orginal DVD game?

Dude!!! Gameshark is an excellent device which helps in playing games easy.Just like having TRAINERS in PC,Gameshark gives infinite of everything like health,ammo,items etc.

& for u jack try to mod ur ps2(using a mod chip).U 'll find many of them on the web.

You'll have to boot your swap magic DVD with the gameshark and then boot the backup with the swap magic. That works for using cheat codes if it's a retail version of gameshark.
