Hi Guys. Just had my dvd drive replaced but before I did I ripped several movies with Shrink as ISO files. Now that I have thew new drive I can't burn them. It writes but when I try to play it it says: no disk, or unsupported format. It is am ISO Image File 4,515,186 KB/ 4.35 GB. Is there any way I can reconvert them or are they lost and can't be burned?? Any help is appreciated. I am using DVD Decrypter.

What media are you using?

Diffrent reason this could happen...

Cheap Media

Media is not compatible with stand alone player

firmware needs to be updated to latest version

DVD drive was not installed correctly

Burrning to fast or to slow on media. (It is recomended that you burn at half the speed of your media. Never go below 4x. So if you have 4x and 8x speed burn at 4x, if you have 16x burn at 8x)

I would assume the ISO are fine if you have used DVD Shrink to back them up.

Does the DVD work on your computer? Plus it would be recomnend to try to play the disc on another dvd player or more then 1. See if they work on those. To rule out compatibility issue with the stand alone player that they do not work on.

thanks for the help. I tried two different dvd stand alone players and both say no disk or unsupported format. I re-analized it through shrink but it won't let me back it up because it already exists. I use different media - Sony dvd-r(w), maxell, and phillips. They have all burned before. Could the ISO file somehow been corrupted? IMG burn doesn't work either.

btw, the movie plays great on my computer but I want to burn it to a disk and free up space on the drive for more ripping.
