heya. i dled resident evil 4 for PS2. it is in .mdf format.. how do i convert it to .iso??? thanks

are you sure there isnt an iso and an mdf? i just did my first one too and i was confused until i realised there was both. just use the iso.

If anything, there would be a mds & an iso, but certainly not an iso & a mdf, since those are both image files, whereas an mds is like a cue file which points to either an mdf or iso image file to tell the burning program what to burn.

Alcohol or DVDcrypter should be able to burn an mdf file anyway, so no need to convert. But if you really want to convert it, then open it in IsoBuster & right-click the CD icon. You'll be able to see the option to extract disc image (iso) from there.

Then just use Alcohol or DVDecrypter, and point the program at the mds file in the same way as you would with an iso.
