I'm to backup The Truth About Charlie using DVD Shrink. I compressed it to fit on a single DVD and then start the encoding process. Shortly after it starts I get an error about encryption to that sector and copy protection. Do I need to cut something out such as an extra or something? What can I do to get around this? Thanks.

Did you use DVDdecrypter or a similar program to rip the files from the dicc to your harddrive? This program will strip out the encryption and copy protection on the disc, making ti much more palatable for DVD Shrink.
BTW. I saw that movie last night, and was actually a bit bored by it....

When I open up DVD Decrypter it seems to only select the main movie file. I go to settings then File Mode and select all instead of main movie. Then when I reopen movie it still seems to only select the main movie file. Is it only selecting the main movie or everything including menus/extras etc? Thanks

DVD Shrink has a few glitches in it, itis very food though. try using DD2One with DVD Decrypter

not many of you guys seem to use the latest CloneDVD , why is this ? is this coz it aint free ? there r ways around this as im sure your all aware, yes i am new to dvdr, but i have tried most of the software out there inc DVD Shrink, but CloneDVD for me is easier and the results are great.
