ok by what i have seen i can mod a slim ps2, i should be able to mod it without a mod chip? is this possible and if so how is it done.

you'd need swap magic with a combination of one of the following. Flip top, magic keys, straw and tissue mod (I'm sure I missed one or two)

You can get Swap Magic with the Magic keys, or go to this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/320910 ... I just did all of the steps over the last week, and it works flawlessly!!! Though it takes a bit getting used to it... I used MasterChu's mod, with tape Tissue for Sensor A, so I could use my Action Replay with my original discs

thanks i appriciate it. now if i also have a "fat" ps2 and i use an ar max. how is that done. yes with the hard drive and net adapter 40GB.
