For the past week my computer has been acting as though it goes into standby mode and i cant get it to come back on for a while. There is something is on my desktop that isn't usually there... it is a long message that is titled... hs_err_pid948. Could this be related to the problem and could anyone please tell me how i can fix it?

I searched google and found that it was a log for java client. I would try reinstalling Java and it should work.
