The last 4 movies I have tried to rip using Shrink have all resulted in i/o errors. I have used DVD Fab and this seemed to work on all but when I try to shrink Inside Man I still get the error. Is this likely a drive issue as my disks are clean and the original DVD's are scratch free?

might depend on the movies. with inside man i believe you will need to use VobBlanker or fixvts after decrypting and prior to shrink. ripit4me has "one click mode" which will make things easier. see signature below for downloads and guides.
