Hi I have swap magic 3 pluse coder verison and im trying to see if i can boot games from my ipod to my ps2 using swap magic. I saw this one site and it tells me i have to make a folder in the root of my ipod saying "SWAPMAGIC" and then label the program(game) SMBOOT0.ELF. For some reason when i go to boot that file the screen turns all black and nothing happens. What am i doing wrong??? I've ripped my Armored Core 3 with DVD Decrypter into an iso file(it gave me the MDS file too) Please help me step by step, pictures would be nice too. Thanks!!!!!

i've never heard of the ipod interacting with the ps2 apart from charging it, where did you find all this stuff out?

Well when i went to check out wat my Coder could do it said that it could boot programs from USB storage deiveces. Also i have a buch of Verbatim Digital Moive DVD+R i was wondering if you can till me how to burn my back up games on it. Thanks

Hey thanks that helped me alot. But it only works when i download the MDS file. I have some gams i wanna backup but its only in ISO file. When i burn the ISO it dosent play. Is there a way to turn an ISO into a MDS ?? Thanks..

download DVD decryptor mode, ISO, write. choose speed then burn. i only use alcohol if i have to use it because of file types. if you can't find DVD decryptor use Nero to burn the image. select express mode, go to backup, and burn image to disc, select ISO choose burn speed and press the button to burn.

Yea i have the DVD Decrypter and i know how to use it. But my games only work if i burn the MDS file on it not ISO. But the other games i have is only in a ISO format. Is there a way to make a MDS file out of it?

you don't really need the MDS file when burning just burn the ISO. the MDS files is only really needed in alcohol when you have a MDF file to go with it.

If I dont need the MDS file how come when i try to burn the ISO it dosent work. I've wasted about 7 disc trying to burn an ISO but when i burn the MDS it works. How would the ISO look like?? i have WinRAR so my ISO files look like 3 books stacked up is that right ?? If thats not right then i've tryed turning off the ISO from the WinRAR and now my ISO files looks like a flaming cd (RecordNow!)

I forgot to say that my MDS files looks like a blank white background with a grey/silver disc on it. (i'm running windows xp)
