Hi kabledog
Here's some suggestions:
Quote:
Nero API version: 7.0.0.0
Using interface version: 6.3.1.4

Still have some of Nero 6 left. Unisntall Nero, run the clean tools for 6 & 7 then install Nero again. There's also a newer version 7.5.7.0.
Here's a link for the clean tools:
http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Clean_Tools.html
Quote:
CdRomPeripheral : LITE-ON CD-ROM LTN-529SV atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: Off

Probably not playing into the burn but turn DMA back on for this drive.

512mb would be better. Add some memory if you can. In the mean time keep as much free as possible. So no multitasking and close any unnecessary programs.

Recorder: <LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S>Version: PS0A

Update the firmware to the latest - PSOB.

Take it down to 8x.

File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS':

Roxio and Nero don't always play well together so uninstall Roxio and run the zap to remove all traces.

Give those a go and let us know!

edit: spelling and fix quotes
+ Hi 300bowler - ya beat me :)

@ binkie7

Thanks you are a genius, it now works. I never had that problem before even after 400+ backups.
