I was making ringtones for my old nokia and now i have a Razor... the way i have been sending the ringtones and etc. to my phone was through my 3Com Bluetooth USB connector. This allows me to send files to my phone from my computer via bluetooth and vise versa...

anyway... to shorten the story... when i send mp3 or wav files to my phone via bluetooth to use as ringtones it says unsupported file type... anyone have any ideas?

So i must use the cable? any explanation to why? doesn't make much sence as to why i would have to use the cable? why would using a cable to transfer a file make my phone recognise the file type?

Why do Newbies argue with the Zen Master? If it works, do it, if it doesn't work, don't do it. Simple down home thoughts for today.
I use MPT and a USB cable, now when the ex-wife calls, my phone grunts like a fat hog in heat, and a picture of a wildebeest shows up on the cover. Makes me happy, cable and all.
Seriously, make sure it is an MP3 and it has a bitrate of 32. Barry Manilow will make your phone choke by the way.

Why Dont You Just Make The .wav File To An MP3 File And Try That?
You Can Also Try Uploading The File Through Some Free Websites Thats How I Do It.
