First off im going to say i am a total noob at this stuff right now so i apologize in advance for any stupid questions but any help will be greatly appreciated.

First off i just ordered Swap Magic and the slider card pro tool and they should be in the mail today.

I want to be able to play my back ups and i was trying to make the MC exploit but i cant seem to get it to work in the cmd prompt. If someone might be able to help me with this that would be awesome.

Also with swap magic would all i have to do is burn a backup of my game like onto a dvd and used swap magic for it to play?

Thanks again in advance for any help sorry im such a n00b right now :(.

Well, in case you didn't go to that thread, I'll give you some details about Swap Magic. You'll get two types of media; one a Swap Magic CD loader, the other a DVD loader. Generally, MOST Ps2 games are bigger than the 800MB, so you'll have to burn your backed-up ISO images with a DVD Burner. I suggest using Nero (I've used it for everything; I like it's interface. Some people say it can't read extensions as well as Alcohol120, although I've hadn't had problems yet). It's rather simple. Use Nero to burn the .ISO file to the DVD-R. I suggest Verbatims, or Sony DVD-Rs; they seem to have the best throughput from the general population who uses them. Now, the Slide card, you'll have to help yourself with that. I have the flip-top, so I don't have knowledge of slide cards or anything. But, if you have any problems with burning your back ups to your media, give me a message.

I'm not sure technically, what the difference is. But PS2s GENERALLY like DVD-Rs better than DVD+Rs
