Right, just one more question: I've downloaded the Slax CD, do I just burn all of the files to a cd with Nero, and then the cd will boot in DOS, or what?

It's some different files and some WinRAR archives, and it's defenetly not .iso's :) - So I think I will burn them onto a CD.

Woah, I heard SLAX only puts the Hitachi in MODEB since the Samsung doesn't need to be in modeB to be flashed. Also... SLAX doesn't boot to dos. Slax is a LINUX based system. And from what I know you can't use SLAX with a Samsung. You have to use the ENABLE0800 DVD DL.
To set your CD to Boot you need to go in your Computer BIOS and set the first boot device to " CD Rom" then save the changes , reboot your computer and put the Slax CD in ."" I think its [F2] OR [F10] key for Intel boards to get into BIOS""
