My friend gave me a copy of a back-up he got in England. Anyway, the ISO is already put on the CD. From what I'm told, it's been patched. This means it's able to run on an NTSC system, considering it's PAL. I've read the discussions around the board; some say there's a patching program, then another with a y-axis fix, et cetera. Well, the CD didn't work. I tried using the NTSC option from my SM disc, didn't work either. Perhaps it needed Zoneloader. Well, I got my hands on the Zoneloader CD boot disc, and it didn't work with that either. I found a back-up on a trusted site. I decided to patch it myself, yet it was already patched, so no need for modification. I know what I'm doing when it comes to burning. It's not my burner, nor media. I'm at the slowest speed, DAO is on, et cetera. Yet, Auto Modellista still won't work on my system. Swap Magic tells me it's not valid media. I've checked around; supposedly this ISO needs no patching, modification, or other bootable CD. So I'm wondering if anyone here could possibly help me; it'd be appreciated. Thank you so much.
considering you can't even get the game to boot I would think that patching PAL->ntsc is not your problem. The NTSC version of that game is on dvd so, I would guess the same would go for the PAL version and since you say your game is on cd then I would assume one possibility could be that you have a DVDrip of the game and that's why you can't get the game to boot. Why go through all this trouble when this game is available in the NTSC region?
First off, I've tried the patcher. It's not a DVD formatted game though? For the Nintendo Game Cube it is a DVD, but for PS2, it's only 658MB. I found a backup NTSC version. SM will boot it, but when it goes to boot, I'm stuck at a blackscreen; I've seen no visual content thus far. =/.
I know this that's why I said patching is probably not the issue.

Like I said before the NTSC version of this game is DVD and I'm not sure if the PAL version is also dvd or not but, if the original is dvd then you have a DVD-RIP of the game which SWAP MAGIC CANNOT BOOT!
