SO ANOTHER PES COMES OUT AND LOOKS GOOOOOOD.SHOOTING HAS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY,DRIBBLING IS A LITTLE BIT HARDER, AI IS BETTER OVERALL(SPECIALLY THE DEFENDER'S AI)SOME NEW MOVES,AND THE WHOLE GAME LOOKS VERY REAL INDEED.FOR THOSE WHO WANT A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL GAME(I MEAN THEIRORIGINAL GAME, THEN REBUILD WITH ONE OF THE METHODS APPEARING IN DVD BACKUP FORUMS.THE NEW TOC SIZE SHOULD BE 1.48GB INSTEAD OF THE 1.5GB.SO MANY THANKS TO KONAMI FOR OFFERING US ANOTHER REAL FOOTBALL.

any idea on how to boot it with hdloader 0.8b?
and how and why to rebuild iso
and how and why to change toc?

no idea about hd loader.as far as rebuilding is concerned,i'm talking about using swap magic(sorry i didn't mentioned it before).also the size of the toc will change and not the toc.1.5gbytes to 1.48gbytes

for a reubuild guide,search other forums, such as dvd backup discussion. there are a lot of ways to rebuild a game and u will find all of them there!

Why would you want to waste your time rebuilding a game that's only 1.5Gb, and works perfectly with Swap Magic just by making an iso of the original disc using DVDecrypter & burning that?
You only need to rebuild games if the TOC size is 4.35Gb or more, as those will be a problem for Swap Magic to boot.

hmm
well i have swap magic
but as the iso is on my hard drive using hdloader 0.8b
i dont really feel like burning to DVDR..
any ideas
is there a fix or ppf patch?

does this game work on NTSC PS2 when converting from PAL to NTSC with paltontsc patcher or adr patcher or is there a Pal/NTsc switch in the game?
I thought I replied to another thread but can't find it. if I did, apologize in advance

i burned two dvd's and no success.after rebuilding all worked ok.
maybe the problem is not the size but some dummy file.(i think isobuster "repairs"some files).i refer to the toc size only to make my point(0.02gbytes are removed).anyway pes 6 is the best soccer sim
by far.fifa 07 has some improvements (like the first touch move)but after a game or two, things get very funny -maybe ridiculus-.presentation is better than in pes grafx are better too, animation is very good both in fifa and in pes, sound is by far better in fifa, but finally pes gives you the not-scripted type of play which makes the difference.
damn japanese...

ace 1 uk i saw your post in the dnas forum.i was just fooling around .wanted to kill some time in my break and do some research for my ps2."shut up"is not a nice way of talking to grown up persons.anyway ,don't take things too serious.it's just a games forum

yeah
i got some crappy currupt version
get ur 'hands' on the NJOY release
i can garentee it works with hdloader 0.8b with modes 1-3 on
