ps2 v 12 + matrix inf chip help!!! PLZ!

well i am trying to play ps2 cd on it and All of them where burning in the same way of the tutorial given on site
the game shows only black ps2 cd picture and stops, when press X, ps2 spins cd and backs black ps2 cd picture again [tekken tag]
well my question whats the prob!!! plz plz help oh and i burned the game with normal burner not dvd burner!

i just notice that i put bloody roar 2 of psx on it and it works great
[i burned it back in the day] and for some reason it works but why ps2 cd games dosent work!!! is the problem can be the disc im burnin the game on ? could be?

your ps2 lens is either busted or not calibrated enough. the ps2 laser has two lens, one for dvd and one for cd. if your cd lens on the laser is messed up, then you cant read cds, but you could still read dvd and vice versa. look on afterdawn on tips of how to adjust the ps2 laser. if that doesnt work then you need a new laser

are you sure because psx games works great and they are burned maybe the way i am burnin the ps2 games isnt good?

i dont get your problem then, does your ps2 play burned cds, or burned dvds. that is a big diff. what exactly is it not reading?

ps2 cds it isnt reading it stay on black screen and stays on it
but when i put psx games its works well
my question is why ps2 cds dosent work and psx works

playstation2 games use dvds. not cd. and if that isnt the problem then your laser must be recalibrated
