ok now i bought AN AMERICAN HAUNTING on DVD 2 days ago, and im trying to make a back-up copy of it... but it won't let me! i want to back it up because i know im going to watch it ALOT, i heard of these programs on this link ...
AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 You can trial these programs at www.slysoft.com for 21days. You will find that these two are the most reliable DVD backup softwares on the market that are regularly updated. There are also lots of freeware found around the net and with a little more time spent you will get the same end result. Try RipIt4Me, Vob Blanker, SHRINK, DVDFab, & DVD Decrypter all freeware (No Cost to you). Google these software titles and you will find many links that will take you to sources that allow you to download them, again at no cost.An American Haunting, I backed up using AnyDVD 6.0.8.0. & Nero Recode2 done right the 1st time with little effort. You'll find this to be the case anytime you use AnyDVD period. The others mentioned (freeware) usually have to be used in combination with each other and are often hit or miss though anyone with a little experience at backing up DVD's to file or disc can make any of the freeware work correctly the 1st time they just will require more of your time where AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 make quick & easy effort of backing up a given film with the most difficult encryptions.:P
They've got a halloween special going on. You can get a free 21 day trial to expirament yourself. AnyDVD will cut through the encryption of An American Haunting.
It also pulls of cd encryption and makes drives region free.
I only use AnyDVD when it is necessary. I use it with DVD Shrink and autoburn with nero6. A very nice combo.
