DBox2 channel scanning problems

Apologies for creating yet another DBox2 thread.

First off I have read various user guides on the DBox2 and have also been through the forum and though other people have stated they have had the same problem I haven't seen a solution.

I am using sportster 1.75 after I do a service scan for channels it finds 274 channels but I can only view the bbc channels, itv, channels 4 and mtv base and hits, I get no sound or picture for the other channels.

I have pm'd bluemoon and boobooman for help but thought if anyone else had solved this problem maybe they could help.

Hi also having similar problems, I live in Devon Telewest area and can only get zee tv. all the other channels appear to be available and it aquires all the programme info but no picture or sound. Is there a list of frequencies etc that I can put in manualy ?
I am using a nokia with neutrino. Many thanks in advance if any one can help.

Hi , Yes I re flashed with a commando image and did a slow scan which sorted it.

Sorry but this is all new to me. How do you reflash with a commando image. When I bought the box the guy said it was all set up and I just had to plug in and play.

You need an up to date image.

Thanks for your help. I solved it by going into Sportster , emu selections & evocamd......and the channels appeared.
