If i use the SH-D162C to read the 360 games, use schtrom360xtract v3.0 to make the iso, and Clone cd 1.5+ along with DVR111D to burn it (and of course Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4X media 8.5GB), do i still need the xtreme FW for the 360 in order to play it?

you still need to flash the 360 in order to play back up games. at least version 3.3. 4.2 is out, but it just came out, so its up to you if you want to use that one, i have 3.3 on mine and it works like a charm. also you will need to flash your sh-d162c with kreon v 0.81 to read the 360 games sucessfully.

you don;t need the 0800 bin file on there, that is what the 0800 disc is for. you need to get rid of that file or leave it doesn't matter just don't flash it with that file, you are missing your hex edited xtreme file(usually called x33.bin or x42a.bin depending on the version of fw you are using).

thx for the help i think i almost got it, my floppy disk now reads like this: MTKFLASH, MTKFLASH.TYP, XTREM42B (with the imported FW key) so am i ready to flash?
also i noticed that there was both a xtreme42a and xtreme42b in the the readme this is what it said about them:
FOr Xtreme 4.2A default backup Read Speed is same as original game disks 12x. When Original Game disk is booted, all subsequent backup loading will be at Quiet/Slow Read mode, Original Game disks are unaffected. Turn console off/on to reset back to Default backup read speed (12x). Quiet/Slow Read Speed is for quiet operation and/or cheap DVD+R DL media.

FOr Xtreme 4.2B default backup Read Speed is Quiet/Slow 2-4x. When Original Game disk is booted, all subsequent backup loading will be at Fast Read mode 12x, Original Game disks are unaffected. Turn console off/on to reset back to Default backup read speed for backups (2-4x).

i would assume xtreme24b would be better for a person whom plans to play mostly back ups, correct me if im wrong...
