Hi all - I'm quite new to this (but not a total newby) anyway I've flashed my hitachi 47 with Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth 8in1 and windows can now detect my xbox360 as a drive. My problem is that only the video files of an original game can be seen. ISO buster, DVD Decrypter, My Computer etc all say the drive is just 7mb big. I have no problems extracting the ss, this all works fine.

I've been going round and round trying to get windows to see the game partition - but no luck. Some forums say there's no way that the hitachi can view game data yet, but the firmware says different. Does anyone have a real answer for me. Also if I am stuck with this problem, would it be the same if I downloaded pre patched games (ones I already own of course!) or will I be able to just burn these images. Please can someone help me. Thanx in advance.

I had a similar problem. I got the AUDIO VIDEO folders, but ISO Buster wouldn't say DVD at the top.. It said CD
I just download stealth copies of my originals. Until someone can come up with a better way.

Connect your hitachi drive up to your pc as you normally would
Download schtrom360xtract from here:
http://www.xbox-scene.com/tools-xbox360.php
Run schtrom360xtract,
when the dialog box comes up select where you want your game image to be saved (Image Path)
and then click on extract
this will now create the game image for burning
Download and install clonecd
open clone cd and select the 2nd option across write from image file
and click on it.
select the image file that you created earlier that has the file extension .dvd and click next. Now select your dvd burner
and click next.

Thats it, in no time at all you will be playing your own x360 game backups

Are you sure this will work? I read the details section for the program and it says it requires the toshiba/samsung drives, no mention of hitachi. I've just banged everything back together too, but if anyone can let me know if they've had success with Schtrom360Xtract on a hitachi I'll be whippin it back apart. Thanx again for your advice.
