Here's something that might boggle you for a while. When I shrink a movie (doesn't matter what the movie is), it says that it's able to be shrunk onto a DVD-5. When I hit "Backup", it will shrink. But, when I try to burn the files onto a DVD, it says that it will not fit. It does this when I select ISO and hard disk files. But, when I select the "custom ratio" and push it to the max compression ratio, it will fit. Weird, eh? Is there any way to fix this?

Under Edit, Preferences, Preferences Tab - is DVD 5, DVD 9 or Custom selected?

You can also run the already "shrunk" file through DVD Shrink again and then burn.

It's on the DVD-5 tab.Originally posted by LOCOENG: You can also run the already "shrunk" file through DVD Shrink again and then burn.
Yeah, but that wastes time. I'd rather sacrifice quality than run it through 2 times.

Reset your target size to "custom" and type in 4400.

I've set it and I'll try it out later on tonight. Thanks. That's what I was going to do, but just didn't have time to do it.

Yeah, what LOCOENG suggested should work. That's what I have mine set to and I haven't had any problems. Your final ISO should be around 4.29GB in size. It will fit on a single layer disc.
