My backup copy of Slither seems to play only in French. My guess is that they mis-labelled the audio selections (on purpose?), and that I deleted all the French aka English audio tracks.

Anyone know which would be the correct ones so I don't waste my time burning and reburning to find out?

If it matters, I used DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD, then DVD Shrink.

I sure appreciate any help I could get!

Hi san_man
Check the backup - can you switch audios on the remote?
I just left the AC3 5.1 audio on it & it's in English.

When I bring up the audio menu on the DVD player, there is only one option - it says English, but comes out French. I know there is English in there somewhere, it's there on the hard drive, but I did have to switch it manually. It seems the default is French.

So, maybe I messed up with the audio selections (??). You think?

Guess I'll just try again.

That is odd showing as English but in French!

Hmmm just watched it this a.m. - no French on mine - just left the 1 audio on the backup (AC3 5.1)

I'd do it again just leaving that one audio. Nothing special on this one - you can just have AnyDVD running in the background w/ Shrink.

Hi there, Binky7! I did do it again, and I think it came out fine!

My guess is that the virus I've got (in my head, not my computer!)made me sloppy. I notice that the AC3 5.1 Eng. file is the last one, and usually it's first. I may have just glanced right over it... (this is where I would put a red-faced smiley.)

I'll try watching it later tonight. I'll let you know if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's it.

I feel like an actual noob, when in fact I've been doing this for awhile. Oh, well. Whadda ya do?!

I've removed the foreign audio on a foreign film before - had the subtitles though :0)

Enjoy the movie!
