I got another 360 but its a core system. The one without the hard drive. can I still flash it?

I wouldn't see why it would make a diffrence... As long as it has hitiachi or samsung.

Yes - I've got a core system (hitachi) and have flashed it - no problems playing a downloaded game (one I already own) but have had some trouble with making my own images (see posting (windows can't see game data/partition))
