Hello I have not posted on these forums before but they have been a great help. However now I have a problem which I couldn't find the solution to so I am deciding to post. My reset button is not working on my ps2(fat)the red light is still there when I turn on my ps2 but clicking on the reset switch does nothing. Could this be due to my silver ribbon? The ribbon is pretty bent up. If it is because of the ribbon is there anyway to fix it besides buying a new one?

dude we have the same problem about the silver ribbon.., In my case I pierced the silver ribbon by screwing it so stupid of me.
