Anyway the thing i want to ask is what do i need to buy to play the new ffXii american version on my australian ps2 with out a mod chip... I just want to be able to use a cd or somthing to not void warrenty and still play ffXii succesfully.... One other thing do i need to know my ps2 version like scph or somthing like that...

Yep, you sure can. I got my Japanese version two weeks ago and works fine with Swap Magic, so the USA version should too.
I've got the American version pre-ordered from the site I've given you (to order swap magic), so I can't wait to play it!

I heard that Coder 3.8 is very buggy (I've been hearing), but has extra features like cheat codes and stuff. So its really up to you. I have Swap Magic, so that works out for me.
And you should buy extra Magic Switch Pro just in case, I broke mine when I tried to insert a peice. The damn thing would go in! So it snapped.

Swap Magic discs will work on any PS2. Just have the right tools and you'll be fine.
